U.S. Marshals Seek Assistance Finding Felon

CONCORD, NH — The U.S. Marshals-New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force are attempting to find a felon wanted on a supervised release violation after being convicted on a felon in possession of a firearm charge in 2017.

The warrant for Joseph Nathaniel Davis, 36, was issued out of U.S. District Court in late October. He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighs 225 pounds. Davis has brown eyes and black hair. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Davis has a number of tattoos including a marijuana plant, dollar signs, and a noose. He sometimes uses the alias, “King Noowee,” according to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal.

“Davis,” White said, “is believed to be living in the Manchester, NH, area.”

The task force has put an “armed and dangerous” warning on Davis’ alert. Officials said no one should attempt to apprehend him. Report any information to local police or 603-225-1632.

According to superior court records, Davis has had a few run-ins with law enforcement in the state.

Back in September 2004, he was accused of attempted first-degree assault, falsifying physical evidence, and reckless conduct charges, all felonies, which led to guilty verdicts of the latter two in May 2006. Davis’ attorneys attempted to suspend the charges in February 2009, which was later denied. In July 2016, he was accused of two felon in possession of a dangerous weapon as well as drug possession charges. The charges were later nolle prossed.
