CONCORD, NH — A local man was arrested recently on a drug charge after allegedly refusing to leave a local restaurant. Jamie G. Lucier, 33, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested on Jan. 26, 2018, on a single count of possession of a prescription drug. When the officers arrived, they found a man asleep in a booth and woke him up. When the reporting officer asked him for identification, he reportedly stated he didn’t have one and allegedly gave the name “Brian” and stated he was 37.
While dispatch was checking the information, the man – later identified as Lucier – “was very nervous and was avoiding eye contact.” The officer then realized that the man was Lucier and he had active warrants for three counts of theft by deception, three counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, receiving stolen property, and theft of lost or mislaid property. He was asked if Lucier was his correct named and he allegedly stated that he wasn’t. The officer then asked to see the back of his neck – to check if there was a tattoo with the name "Aiden," something that was used previously to identify Lucier after other crimes – and he allegedly refused.

“I could clearly see his face at this time and I could identify him as Lucier,” the reporting officer alleged, telling him to stand up so he could be taken into custody on the warrant.
After being transported, Lucier was patted down and police allegedly found 15 white pills – Gapapentin – and a drug charge was added to his docket. He was held without bail and transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections.
According to reports on Patch, Lucier has been arrested a number of times in the city including on a warrant from the Hooksett Police Department for two counts of willful concealment in December 2013. In June 2014, he was also arrested in Concord for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, default or breach of bail conditions, and three bench warrants. Lucier was also arrested on two felony counts of theft by unauthorized taking, due to two prior convictions, and theft by deception in August 2015, after an incident at Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road as well as an incident at Walmart on Loudon Road. He was also indicted on felony theft of lost or mislaid property earlier this year after allegedly taking a debit/credit card from a reader at a store in Concord in December 2017.
