Urinating at the Statehouse Lands Teen in Jail

After arrest in Pembroke, Jason Derek Woody was arrested again.

A homeless man now located in Concord faces a city ordinance infraction and a breach of bail charge after allegedly being seen peeing in the bushes at the .

According to an affidavit from the , , 19, was allegedly seen by parking enforcement officer urinating in the bushes, while she was on rounds checking parking slips downtown. She described the man, later identified as , as white, tall, with curly hair, wearing plaid shorts.

The reporting officer later caught up with Woody just north of the Statehouse, at the intersection of North Main Street and Pitman Street. The officer reportedly spoke with Woody, alleging that he was "unsteady on his feet, had red, bloodshot and watery eyes, and smelled of alcohol when he spoke." The officer alleged that Woody stated he was on his way to the . reportedly told the officer that he had previously been arrested in Pembroke and had been given a ride back to Concord by that department.

When asked if he had urinated in the bushes in front of the Statehouse, Woody allegedly said he didn't adding that "some guy came up to me and started yelling and calling me names." The officer reportedly asked the same question again, and Woody allegedly stated, "It's an accusation."

The officer asked Woody if he had been drinking and he allegedly told the officer he had one beer but didn't think it was a violation of his bail terms since he reportedly thought it said "no excessive use of alcohol."

According to the affidavit, had been charged by the with criminal restraint, criminal threatening, and simple assault, all related to a domestic disturbance. He had been arrested at 5:15 a.m. on July 6, and was due in Hooksett District Court on Aug. 14, to face the charges.

The officer alleged that on the bail condition notice, which Woody had on his persons, it stated, "shall refrain from any use of alcohol," as well as other drugs or controlled substances.

Woody was arraigned on July 7 on the two charges.
