Vehicle Strikes Pedestrian On Penacook Street In Concord

Streets in the North End were closed on Wednesday during the investigation of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were called to Penacook and Bradley streets for an accident between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian on Wednesday.

First responders were sent to the crash at just before 6:15 p.m. A witness told police dispatch that the victim was conscious, answering questions, but they could not say how bad the extent of the injuries were, according to dispatch.

EMTs reported the pedestrian had a head injury and later, transported the victim to Concord Hospital.

Police called more units to the scene and shut down Penacook and Bradley streets. Traffic was re-routed to different parts of the North End while investigating the crash.
