Vermont Law Firm Hires Concord Attorney
Andrew Grosvenor has been named resident associate of Merritt & Merritt in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, NH - Merritt & Merritt, which has provided legal and strategic counsel to many of New England’s emerging growth companies from its base in Burlington, VT, since 1989, has opened a new office in the Granite State and made their first New Hampshire hire.
The firm has opened an office in Alpha Loft at 844 Elm St. and hired attorney Andrew Grosvenor to assist in expanding the Firm’s New Hampshire client base, according to a press statement.
Grosvenor, a Concord resident, has practiced law in New Hampshire for the past three years and focused on corporate law, business formation, and intellectual property protection. As an associate at Orr & Reno, he co-founded “O2 for Entrepreneurs,” a practice group that served startup companies at reduced fees.

“In a high touch field such as law, we want to be where the prospective clients are. While Burlington, Vermont has been very good to our firm for the past 25 years, we believe Manchester, New Hampshire is the best place to have a second home,” said Ken Merritt, managing director of the Firm. “Andrew Grosvenor is an ideal choice to augment our New Hampshire efforts given how well his experience and affinity for entrepreneurs aligns with the mission of Merritt & Merritt.”
Some of the most well known Vermont consumer product brands, such as Keurig Green Mountain, and leading companies in the software, technology, biotech and other sectors, have trusted the firm to help them grow. The firm has an established practice in the Upper Valley as well as a growing client base in southern New Hampshire. The firm recently closed an acquisition transaction in connection with its representation of Johnson Precision of Hudson.

“I am excited about joining Merritt & Merritt and about augmenting our New Hampshire-based efforts out of Manchester," Grosvenor said. "With the growing entrepreneurial environment now centered in southern New Hampshire, it is clear that Manchester is rapidly evolving into the heart of a creative and expanding zone of new business opportunity."
Grosvenor holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Trinity College. Prior to working for Orr & Reno, he was a judicial extern for the New Hampshire Supreme Court, where he worked with Justice James P. Bassett.
