“We are thrilled to have so many New Hampshire veterans and their family members taking an active role in this campaign, and we thank them for their tremendous service to our country,” said Pete Kavanaugh, Obama for America - New Hampshire State Director.

We have a sacred trust with those who serve and protect our nation. It's a commitment that begins at enlistment, and it must never end - we owe our  veterans and their families the care they were promised and the benefits they have earned. That’s why President Obama is committed to ensuring that veterans can find work when they return home, receive the health care and benefits they’ve earned and have the chance to get a college education through the post-9/11 GI Bill. As millions of our servicemen and women return home from war, now more than ever we must fulfill our duty to them.

The veterans and military families comprising the steering committee represent geographically diverse communities across the state, including members from all ten counties, and more than 50 distinct cities and towns. Members will take an active role in reaching out to the veterans and military families across New Hampshire on behalf of the President’s campaign.
