Watch: Halloween 2019 In The West End
As The Shaggs once sang, "The ghosts will spook, the spooks will scare, why even Dracula will be there!"

CONCORD, NH — Despite the occasional breeze and a bit of misting, it was another fun Halloween in Concord … with the exception of a lot of empty bowls, again, this year.
Not unlike last year, when someone drove up to my driveway, ran out, and swiped a full bowl of candy, there were many more empty bowls this year around the West End. A number of residents told us that they didn't have many trick-or-treaters at all and yet the bowls left out by their neighbors, so they could go out and trick-or-treat with their kids, too, were emptied.
While many of our children got more than enough candy this year, people who do this really wreck the fun for everyone else, especially when they are walking all over the neighborhoods, having fun trick-or-treating.
