GRAY, ME — From heavy rain to snowstorms and blizzards and this week's nor'easter, New Hampshire certainly experienced <a href="https://patch.com/new-hampshire/concord-nh/bad-nh-winter-weather-forecast-polar-vortex-may-return">a number of weather extremes</a> in 2016. The National Weather Service even put together some of the events in a graphic this morning. The highlights include the very cold temperatures the state experienced in <a href="https://patch.com/new-hampshire/concord-nh/deep-freeze-nh-were-records-broken">February after some extremely cold weather crossed the eastern part of the state</a>. The nor'easter this week also set a couple of records for the year, including most snowfall in 2016 – 12 inches in North Conway – and snow depth – 20 inches. The hottest temperature was 99 degree in Concord on Aug. 12.
