The Granite State experienced some interesting weather this year. The National Weather Service offers some highlights.

GRAY, ME — From heavy rain to snowstorms and blizzards and this week’s nor’easter, New Hampshire certainly experienced a number of weather extremes in 2016. The National Weather Service even put together some of the events in a graphic this morning.
The highlights include the very cold temperatures the state experienced in February after some extremely cold weather crossed the eastern part of the state. The nor’easter this week also set a couple of records for the year, including most snowfall in 2016 – 12 inches in North Conway – and snow depth – 20 inches. The hottest temperature was 99 degree in Concord on Aug. 12.
