Webster Man Arrested Months After Pedestrian Injured In Franklin
Kevin Muzzey was arrested today after state police allege he struck a pedestrian in his Mazda on Central Street in Franklin on Feb. 27.

CONCORD, NH — A multi-month investigation by state police has led to a local man being arrested on a conduct after an accident charge. Kevin Muzzey, 51, of Webster, was arrested on May 7, 2019, on a warrant by New Hampshire State Police. Back on Feb. 27, at around 6 p.m., police in Franklin were called to a report on Central Street of a pedestrian being struck by a sedan that reportedly fled the scene of the crash.
The pedestrian – a 53-year-old man from Franklin – sustained serious bodily injuries, according to Sgt. Greg Dube of the NHSP, and was transported to Concord Hospital.
Franklin police requested the NHSP Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit to gather evidence and investigate the incident. The street was closed for around three hours.

“Based upon evidence that was gathered on scene, as well as by nearby witnesses, the vehicle in question was identified as a dark-colored Mazda sedan,” Dube noted, with “a large piece of the front bumper missing on the passenger side as well as damage to the passenger side view mirror.”
The investigation led troopers to Webster. A search warrant was issued at an address in Webster where the vehicle – a 2011 Mazda 6 – was reportedly found. Dube alleged that Muzzey, at the time of the crash, was driving the vehicle and it was registered in his name.
