The political silly season is off with a flourish owing to the open seats in several key offices, most noticeably, governor, 2nd CD, executive council seats and NH state senate seats. With the current open border policy given us 10 million or more illegal aliens and an unacceptable death rate from drugs originated in China. This has placed an impossible financial burden on state and local government. It has also created a competition for low skilled jobs that has driven down the wages for many Americans. Immigration laws has been in need of improvement for decades but we had a near secure border before President Biden initiated an open border policy in serious conflict with current federal statutes, and your solutions are what Mr. Van Ostern?

What came as a surprise is the way establishment and wannabe establishment Democrats are lining up to support Van Ostern making in more of a coronation then a primary contest. The crucial test will be where he stands on issues that are critical to NH working family survival.

Ms. Custer has always had high negatives but being a super campaign fund raiser and given the 2nd CD is slightly to the left of center she was successful in getting reelected. To her credit, she has always been highly supportive of veterans’ issues owing in part to the fact that her father was a WW II POW. On behalf of my fellow veterans, thank you for your efforts.
Anne’s latest remarks on the college riots saying it was “complicated” underscores her support of the pro Hamas anti-Israel Squad. It’s not really that complicated. If you are willfully breaking the law and destroying private and public property, you should be arrested, period. It is interesting that the weaponized FBI and Justice Department has investigated Catholics and concerned parents were complaining the actions and inaction of school boards but consider the rioting financed by outside sources to be a local matter and will not be investigated at the present time.
