New Hampshire Woman Accused Of Wrong-Way Drunken Driving On Interstate 93 In Concord
Emily Lecuyer was arrested Sunday after state police deployed a tire deflation device near Exit 16; she was eventually stopped near I-393.

CONCORD, NH — State police arrested a woman accused of wrong-way drunken driving in Concord early Sunday morning.
Around 3:30 a.m., state police dispatch began receiving reports about a car seen being driven south in the northbound lanes of Interstate 93. The first call was reported in Northfield. Other callers provided updates as the vehicle traveled south, according to Tyler Dumont, the public information officer for the New Hampshire State Police.
A trooper caught up to the car near Exit 17 in Concord, but they failed to stop and continued driving, a report said. As the car approached Exit 16, a trooper sergeant laid out a tire deflation device to stop the vehicle.

“While the vehicle’s tires were deflating, the wrong-way driver continued south in the northbound lanes,” Dumont said. “The vehicle eventually stopped just north of the Interstate 393 interchange after encountering an officer from the Concord Police Department.”
A trooper contacted the occupants of the car and, after an investigation, arrested Emily R. Lecuyer, 20, of Brentwood on felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, driving under the influence, and disobeying an officer charges. She was released on personal recognizance and is due in Concord District Court at a future date.
