LOUDON, NH — A local woman was arrested on Sunday night after a three-vehicle crash on Route 106 in Loudon that led to one woman being killed. Maggie Doorlag, 27, of Concord, was arrested on June 23, 2019, on an aggravated driving while intoxicated charge. Loudon police and fire and rescue teams were called to Route 106 last night around 9:45 p.m. near the Loudon Country Club for a report of a three-vehicle accident.

The New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction team were called in after one of the drivers involved in the accident – Angelica Lane, 22, of Loudon – was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to officials, a Jeep Cherokee, being driven by Doorlag, was traveling north while Lane, in a Lexus ES330, was waiting to make a left-hand turn into a driveway. Another vehicle – a Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by a Chichester man with a baby inside his truck – was traveling south.

"The initial investigation revealed that the Jeep Cherokee was traveling north on Route 106 when it struck the Lexus sedan and pushed it into the path of the Dodge pick-up, causing the Dodge to crash into the Lexus," stated Sgt. Greg Dube of the NHSP. "The driver of the Lexus, Lane, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene."

Doorlag, the driver of the truck, and the baby were reportedly injured during the crash. The baby was transported to Concord Hospital for treatment with non-life-threatening injuries.

Route 106 was closed from Shaker Road to Clough Hill Road for around five hours.

During the course of the investigation, Dube noted, "there was probable cause to believe that Doorlag was impaired at the time of the crash" and she was arrested. She was processed and released, and is due in court on July 11.

Assisting Loudon police and firefighters as well as state police were the Canterbury and Belmont police departments and Chichester Fire and EMS.

Dube stated that it appears that alcohol "was a factor in this crash, however all aspects remain under investigation." Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Bryan Plamondon at 603-223-8677 or email him at Bryan.Plamondon@dos.nh.gov
