Woman Cited After Crashing Into State Police Cruiser on I-93
New Hampshire State Police urge motorists to use care, reduce speeds during inclement weather.
A state trooper was not injured after his cruiser was struck by another vehicle earlier today at Exit 14 on I-93 in Concord.
According to a report, a state trooper was investigating a motor vehicle crash on I-93 North at the Exit 14 off-ramp in Concord at around 10:15 a.m. on Feb. 3, 2015, and had positioned his cruiser behind one of the damaged vehicles while waiting for a tow truck.
A driver, Donna Ashley, 61, of Henniker, was proceeding down the off-ramp in a Nissan Versa when she reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the cruiser.

The Versa sustained front-end damage and was towed from the scene; the cruiser sustained damage to a rear bumper. Neither the trooper nor Ashley were injured but she received a summons for driving at a speed in excess of the existing road conditions, according to a report.
Lt. Gregory Ferry of the New Hampshire State Police urged motorists to “use due care and reduce their vehicle speed during inclement weather” or whatever the road conditions are at the time.

“Troopers’ lives depend on it,” he stated.
At this time last year, the same state trooper was injured after an accident at the I-93 Exit 20 ramp in Tilton.
