Woman Dies After Being Struck By Car On Loudon Road: Report
Update: The woman was killed while jaywalking Thursday. The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with Concord police.

CONCORD, NH — A woman who was struck by a car on Loudon Road Thursday has died. The woman, according to the Concord Monitor, was 63. She was struck while crossing Loudon Road in between Bridge and North Main streets.
There is not a crosswalk in the area where she was crossing the road.
Lt. Sean Ford, the commander of the criminal investigations division with the Concord Police Department, stated she passed away at around 1 a.m. Friday at Concord Hospital.

According the first responding officer, the woman had a major head laceration and was not responding to him. EMTs had fire dispatch alert Concord Hospital that the trauma unit would be needed. The woman was estimated to be in her early 70s by first responders when they first arrived, according to scanner chatter.
