Woman Tries to Break Into Her Old Apartment

Concord Police allege that she had drugs on her persons.

A local woman was arrested last month after reportedly breaking into an apartment she had no business being in, according to an arrest report.

Nycole Ann Audet, 32, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was arrested at 11:16 a.m. on March 26, and charged with criminal trespass, and two counts of possession of controlled drugs, one a felony.

Officers were called to an apartment building on Loudon Road for a report that a woman was in one of the apartments when she wasn’t allowed to be. Dispatch told the officer that the man who lived in the apartment was at Concord Hospital and heard that the woman, Audet, allegedly broke into his apartment and was staying there.

Two officers and a sergeant arrived at the building and found Audet in the foyer of the rear part of the building.

When asked what she was doing in the building, Audet allegedly told the officers that she was dropping off a white cat at her friend’s house. When asked if it was the apartment in question, she allegedly said it was.

Civil paperwork, however, showed her getting evicted from the apartment earlier in the day. When asked if she broke into the apartment, she allegedly said “no,” and then allowed police to look at her phone text messages.

When asked if she had a current address, she said no, but was trying to get her old apartment back. She was then arrested for criminal trespass.

During processing, an officer searched her property and allegedly found a small bag of marijuana and two Suboxone 8 mg strips in her jacket pocket. She reportedly denied having a prescription for the Suboxone and the drug charges were added.

Audet was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on May 5.
