Farmers & Foodies Welcome in new WAPF Chapter Launch, June 20th

A new local chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF) is launching to help connect residents to nutrient-dense, locally produced foods and the farmers, artisans, and health advocates who make them available.

Founded by Kathy Lynch, the new North Grafton County chapter aims to serve as a resource for individuals and families seeking healthier food choices, traditional food preparation methods, and direct connections to local food producers.

To celebrate the launch, the chapter will host a public gathering on Saturday, June 20^th from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Iron Furnace Brewing on 115 Main St., Franconia, NH.

The event will provide an opportunity to meet local producers, exchange ideas, discover healthy food options available in the region, and learn about the mission of the Weston A. Price Foundation.

The gathering is open to the public, but advance RSVP is required.

The Weston A. Price Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization, founded by Sally Fallon Morell, dedicated to disseminating the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston A. Price. Through his studies of isolated, non-industrialized populations around the world, Dr. Price identified nutritional principles associated with excellent health and physical development. Today, the Foundation works to restore nutrient-dense foods to the American diet and supports an extensive network of local chapters that help consumers locate healthy food sources within their communities.
