The Most Read Posts of 2016 for Hampton and North Hampton
A FEMA nuke plant test, legal pot in the Bay State, "free the nipple," and more were popular this year.

HAMPTON, NH — It was another busy year at the New Hampshire Patch.com network of news and community websites. Here are the most read stories for Hampton and North Hampton this year.
The biggest story of the year was an exclusive to Patch – a full-scale exercise at the Seabrook Power Plant back in April, which was read by nearly 25,000 people and shared by more than 9,300 on Facebook. A post from 2012 when and where dogs are allowed on the beach was, once again, a popular read. “Free the nipple” activists continued to make headlines, and a Bay State woman who allegedly offered a strip show at a rest stop was also popular. What legal pot in Massachusetts means to New Hampshire residents rounded out the Top 5.
