Dog Tossed from Car, Recovering at Animal Shelter

A dog is recovering at a local animal shelter after he was tossed from a car in Manchester.
Cooper, a 2-year-old Shih Tzu, is being treated at the Manchester Animal Shelter.

A woman saw the dog being thrown from the car and said it was upsetting.

“I saw a white thing come out of the passenger-side window,” the woman told WMUR. “It has legs and a little face, and it was a dog,” she said.
The dog was not seriously hurt.
The animal shelter is holding the dog until the owner is found. If no one comes forward, the animal could be put up for adoption.
