Queen City Man Accused Of Robbing Uber Driver In Downtown Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH — A Queen City man is facing robbery and kidnapping charges after an early morning robbery last week, according to police.

Snaiderx Sanchez Perez, 27, was arrested on June 4 on armed robbery and kidnapping charges.

Around 4:30 a.m. on June 1, officers in Downtown Manchester were approached by an Uber driver who reported being robbed by a customer. The victim told police he picked up the man on Elm Street and, after starting the trip, accused the fare of placing an object on the back of the driver’s head and demanding money, Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the department, said.

“The victim gave the suspect cash and the suspect got out of the car,” she said.

During the investigation, Sanchez Perez as identified as a suspect and arrested.

Sanchez Perez, according to court documents, was accused of conduct after an accident-death or injury, driving under the influence, speeding, criminal mischief, and several driving violations in May 2024.

In October 2025, he pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and criminal mischief charges, as well as a stop sign-yield sign violation. Sanchez Perez was fined $1,488 for the mischief charge, suspended for a year, and ordered to pay $2,025.30 in restitution. On the DUI charge, he was fined $620 and his license was revoked for nine months.

All the other charges were nolle prossed.

Sanchez Perez also agreed to a payment plan, according to the Hills North court documents.

On Jan. 14, a show-cause hearing was held due to unpaid fines, with a Spanish interpreter requested. A second show-cause hearing was held on March 26 due to unpaid fines, with an interpreter requested.
