Alleged Merrimack Shoplifter, with Priors, Arrested
Police allege that Shana Reid stole items from Shaw's on Continental Boulevard last month.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local woman was arrested this morning and is due in court next month after an alleged shoplifting incident, according to police. Shana Reid, 32, of Pearl Court in Merrimack, was arrested on March 8, 2017, for willful concealment.

According to police, officers were sent to the Shaw’s on Continental Boulevard on Feb. 2, for a report of a shoplifting incident. Reid – according to Lt. Ted Dillon of the Merrimack Police Department – was a suspect in the incident. After investigating the incident, a warrant was taken out for her arrest on a single count. Reid was picked up today, according to Dillon, and released later on personal recognizance bail.

Reid is due in Merrimack District Court on April 13.
Previously, according to a report on Patch in December 2014, Reid was arrested on a harassment charge. She was indicted on a drug possession charge back in 2012, and was previously convicted of drug possession in December 2007, in Clearwater, FL. Last year, according to the Lowell Sun, she was arrested on a theft charge in Hudson.
