Prater was arrested at 3:45 a.m. on July 12, at the Nashua Police Department headquarters by Merrimack Police based on two separate incidents, according to police.
On May 27, at around 9 p.m., police investigated an allegation made by a “household/family member” of Prater’s that alleged being assaulted while driving on Amherst Road.

“The party advised that Prater had punched them in the face during an argument,” according to Mptl Stephen Wallin. “The incident was investigated and led to a warrant and affidavit being completed for Christian Prater for domestic violence-simple assault.”
About three weeks later, on June 17, at around 8:30 p.m., police were sent to a local residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived, they investigated a complaint that Prater had allegedly sexually assaulted a household/family member at the location.
“During the sexual assault Prater also physically assaulted the victim numerous times as well as choked the victim,” according to Wallin. “The victim also reported that Prater held them against their will and prevented them from calling the police to report the incident.”
The other warrants were filed against Prater.
A week later, Prater allegedly went into hiding and police requested assistance from the public about the case.
