Alleged Teen Stalker from Merrimack Charged Again

Police arrest Ryan Mercier for allegedly contacting a subject via a computer in violation of protective order.

MERRIMACK, NH – A local man was arrested and held without bail earlier this month after allegedly violating a restraining order, according to police.

Ryan Mercier, 19, of Dwyer Street in Merrimack, was arrested on June 15, 2016, on a violation of protective/stalking order charge.

Mercier turned himself in on a warrant after police investigated an incident earlier in the day where he allegedly contacted the subject of the protective order via a computer.

According to Lt. Ted Dillon of the Merrimack Police Department, investigators eyed the allegation and issued a warrant for Mercier’s arrest. He was held without bail and arraigned on June 16.

According to reports on Merrimack NH Patch, Mercier allegedly assaulted a family member during Christmas vacation in 2013. In December 2014, he was arrested for stalking after allegedly driving by the complainant’s home, according to a post on Patch. In October 2015, he was arrested again for stalking, reckless driving, simple assault on a police officer, and resisting arrest, according to WMUR-TV.
