Convicted Rapist Faces Armed Robbery, Drug Charges: Indictment Roundup
Plus, Nashua woman indicted for being a habitual offender; Mass. residents indicted on drug, burglary, bail jumping charges.

NASHUA, NH — The following people were indicted in Hillsborough County Superior Court recently.
Jose Batista-Salva (and many aliases), 29, currently incarcerated, for armed robbery, felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, receiving stolen property, witness tampering, falsifying physical evidence, all felonies, as well as endangering the welfare of a child and possession of a controlled drug-marijuana. On Jan. 3, 2016, he allegedly robbed the Wendy’s in Nashua with a Ruger 9 mm, tried to conceal the weapon on Riverview Street in Hudson. The gun, according to investigators, was stolen. Batista-Salva also allegedly told a person not to tell police who robbed the Wendy’s, according to the indictment. On Jan. 6, 2016, he was allegedly in possession of marijuana. In November 2007, he was convicted of felonious sexual assault.

Theresa Bissonnette, 35, of Strawberry Bank Road in Nashua, for felony habitual offender. On Jan. 29, 2016, in Nashua, she was allegedly driving a vehicle after being deemed a habitual offender.

Wendy Boulay, 43, of Boston Street in Salem, MA, for felony possession of a narcotic drug-heroin on Nov. 17, 2016, in Pelham.
Mark Brooks, 26, of Marion Street in Boston, MA, for felony bail jumping. On March 8, 2016, he allegedly failed to show up in Hillsborough County Superior Court to face a felony possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell-second offense.
Elvis B. Chavez, 44, of Golden Meadow Drive in Austin, TX, for fraudulent use of a credit card and theft by unauthorized taking, both felonies. On Jan. 12, 2016, in Hudson, he allegedly used credit cards belonging to other people to ring up $2,513.70 worth of items at Sam’s Club.
David Chesley, 39, of Main Street in Leeds, MA, for felony theft by unauthorized taking. On May 13, 2015, he allegedly stole four mini Jamboxes and six Jawbone UP24 Activity Trackers, all valued at more than $1,000 but less than $1,500, belonging to Kohl’s in Nashua.
Joseph Croft, 28, of Salem Road in Billerica, MA, for two counts of burglary and a single count of receiving stolen property, all felonies. On Jan. 9, he allegedly burglarized a home on Highland Street in Hudson. On Jan. 10, 2016, he allegedly burglarized the home again and stole a wheelchair, tools, and a bike from the home.
