Dispute Over Repair Bill Leads to Assault Charge
Merrimack Police arrest Sean Blake two days after an incident on Constance Street.

A local man will be in court next month to answer to an assault charge after allegedly hitting another person during a dispute over a vehicle repair bill.
Sean Blake, 41, of Front Street in Merrimack, was arrested on Nov. 12, 2015, and charged with simple assault.

Police were sent to Constance Street for a report of an assault on Nov. 10, 2015. When they arrived, they conducted an investigation into the allegation where the victim in the case alleged that Blake “struck the victim in the face during a dispute over a vehicle repair bill,” according to Sgt. Eric Marquis of the Merrimack Police Department.
A warrant was issued for Blake’s arrest and two days later, he turned himself in to police. He is due in court on Dec. 17.

According to online reports, Blake was arrested in December 2011, for criminal mischief.
