Four NH Men Charged With Making Violent Threats In Video
Merrimack police charged teens from Hollis, Hudson and Merrimack, and a Nashua man, with holding firearms in threatening social media video.
MERRIMACK, NH — Four New Hampshire men were charged with felony riot and criminal threatening after Merrimack police said they appeared in a video posted on social media holding firearms and threatening to kill people last week. Erik Hirschfeld, 19, of Hudson, Nikolas Martin-Blanchette, 19, of Merrimack, and Jacob Goulet, 18, of Hollis, were released on house arrest following arraignment on Tuesday, while Kyle Mercer, 24, of Nashua, was held on preventative detention.
Merrimack police said they received an anonymous complaint about a video posted by Mercer Saturday afternoon. After reviewing the video, Merrimack police initiated an investigation and arrest warrants for all four men were obtained.
Hirschfeld was arrested without incident after he was pulled over while driving on Industrial Drive in Merrimack on Saturday. Martin-Blanchette was arrested at his Merrimack home on Saturday where Merrimack police said they located the two firearms that appeared in the video. On Monday, Hollis police assisted Merrimack police in the arrest of Mercer and Goulet during a traffic stop on Route 101A in Merrimack.

All four were held on preventative detention pending their arraignment on Tuesday, where Martin-Blanchette, Hirschfeld and Goulet were released on house arrest with the condition they do not contact each other, and Mercer was held on preventative detention.
The investigation was a collaborative effort between Merrimack, Hollis, Hudson and Nashua police.
