Merrimack Man Charged with Drunk Driving

Police arrested Kyle Norway this morning after a traffic stop after a reported highway markings violation.

MERRIMACK, NH — Police arrested a local man early this morning after an officer reportedly saw him driving erratically, according to a press report. Kyle Norway, 22, of Cota Road in Merrimack, was arrested on Dec. 2, 2016, for operating under the influence of liquor and highway markings.

Norway was stopped for alleged erratic driving at just before 1 a.m. this morning after an officer reportedly saw him make a motor vehicle violation. The officer made the contact with Norway and while speaking with him, he allegedly showed signs of alcohol impairment, according to Michael Lambert of the Merrimack Police Department.

“Upon further investigation, which included field sobriety tests, police determined that Norway was driving while intoxicated and he was placed under arrest,” Lambert stated.

Norway was arrested, processed, and was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. He has a court date on Dec. 8.
