Merrimack Police: Thoughts, Prayers with Guindon's Family
Department says note Ashley Guindon wrote in her high school yearbook has set an example for everyone to follow, according to post online.

Merrimack Police offered thoughts and prayers to the family of VA Police Officer Ashley Guindon, who grew up in town, after she was shot and killed last night at a domestic incident on her first night on the job.
In a Facebook post, “Our hearts go out to Ashley’s family, especially her mother. The Merrimack Police will be there to honor Ashley, no matter where it takes us.”

The department noted that Ashley wrote in her Merrimack High School yearbook, “live for something rather than die for nothing.”
