Merrimack Teen Arrested Again for Assault

Thomas LeClaire racks up more charges including criminal trespassing, breach of bail, marijuana possession after incident on Scott Drive.

MERRIMACK, NH - A local teen, arrested about two weeks ago, is in more trouble with the law after being arrested this weekend on numerous charges, according to police.

Thomas LeClaire, 18, of Scott Drive in Merrimack, was arrested on May 28, 2016, for simple assault, criminal trespassing, breach of bail, and possession of marijuana.

At just before 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, police were sent to a residence for a report of an assault incident.

“Merrimack Police became aware that LeClaire entered the victim’s residence and assaulted the victim,” according to Sgt. Gregory Walters of the Merrimack Police Department. “A records check showed that LeClaire was on bail for another pending offense. A warrant was completed for simple assault, criminal trespassing and breach of bail conditions.”

When police went to serve the warrant, LeClaire was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana, according to Walters.

LeClaire was arrested and held on $2,500 cash bail. He was scheduled to be arraigned on May 31.

LeClaire was arrested on May 18, 2016, on assault charges after an alleged incident on Dalton Court, reportedly with a juvenile.
