Merrimack Police called Bedford for assistance and a perimeter was set up in the area. About 40 minutes later, a second call came in from a nearby residence reporting another attempted burglary through a window. While police headed to that call, they encountered Rodriguez reportedly walking south on the Daniel Webster Highway, not far from the second home.
