Nashua Man Found Slumped Behind the Wheel Again in Merrimack: Cops
Police: Robert Kramer, who was arrested on meth possession charges two weeks ago, was bagged for drunk driving last week.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local man who was arrested on Feb. 12, on drug and other charges, after allegedly being found slumped behind the wheel of a vehicle, was arrested again last week – for reportedly doing the same thing, according to police. Robert Kramer, 26, of Broad Street in Nashua, was arrested on Feb. 21, 2017, for operating under the influence/driving while intoxicate of liquor and/or drugs and breach of bail conditions.

At just after midnight last Tuesday, an officer in the area of a local gas station came across a motor vehicle pulled over on the side of the Daniel Webster Highway.

“The officer discovered there was a male, who appeared to be sleeping, behind the wheel,” according to Sgt. Cassell of the Merrimack Police Department.
While speaking with the driver – identified later as Kramer – the officer allegedly “noticed signs of impairment,” and at the conclusion of the investigation, he was arrested.

“Kramer was transported to the Merrimack Police Department where he was booked accordingly,” Cassell noted.
During booking, police discovered that Kramer was arrested on Feb. 12, allegedly doing nearly the exact same thing in town. The conditions of his bail, however, required that he not violate any laws, so a breach charge was added to his docket.
Kramer was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and he is due in court on March 9.
