Police: Man Smashed Front Door of Carriage Lane Home

Merrimack officers arrest Brian Peterson for criminal mischief.

A local man is facing a domestic violence vandalism charge after an incident last week on Carriage Lane.

Brian Peterson, 20, of Carriage Lane in Merrimack, was arrested at around 3 p.m. on Jan. 18, on a domestic violence criminal mischief charge.

According to police, officers were sent to Carriage Lane for a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, they found out that Peterson had allegedly smashed the glass to the front door of the home. He was arrested and charged.

Peterson was processed and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and arraigned on Jan. 20.

According to online reports, Peterson has been arrested by Merrimack Police in the past.

In May 2012, according to a post on Patch, he was arrested for possession of alcohol and marijuana. A few months later, in December 2012, he was arrested on two counts of possession of alcohol. In July 2013, he was arrested for resisting arrest.
