Woman Arrested on Theft Charges in Concord

Police arrest Kailey Rowley on warrants after alleged incidents in May; she has a history of incidents in and outside of Merrimack.

CONCORD, NH — A local woman was in court last month after being arrested in June on theft charges. Kailey E. Rowley, 23, of Cedar Lane in Merrimack, was arrested at 9:40 p.m. on June 14, 2016, on two counts of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. The charges stem from alleged incidents at Cumberland Farms on Manchester Street in Concord on May 4, 2016, and a second incident at Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road in Concord on May 19.

According to reports, Rowley was arrested by Franklin Police on a Concord warrant after she turned herself in to police in that city. She was picked up by a Concord officer and transported to headquarters for booking. During processing, the reporting officer learned of a second warrant, and that charge was added to the docket. Rowley was scheduled to be arraigned on July 25.

Rowley is no stranger to police, according to online reports.

In 2011, she was arrested at least four times. She was arrested in July 2011, for shoplifting in Amherst. She was also arrested on a warrant. In Merrimack, she was charged with criminal mischief for allegedly throwing a rock at a man’s vehicle during an incident. She was arrested in Concord in December 2011, on driving charges. Rowley was arrested in Salem in 2012 on a warrant, according to the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune, driving charges in Bedford in January 2012, and driving charges in Nashua in January 2013.
