$2 Million Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In New Hampshire, Commission Says
The player of the winning ticket matched 5 numbers — with winning odds of 1 to 11.7 million and also chose the Power Play multiplier.

HUDSON, NH — The Market Basket on Lowell Road in Hudson sold a $2 million Powerball ticket for Friday’s drawing, according to the New Hampshire Lottery.
The lucky player chose five numbers, with odds of 1:11,688,054 of winning $1 million, and then also Power Played the ticket — which doubled the winning prize to $2 million.
This was the second time in May a lottery player purchased a 5-number draw for Powerball, the lottery said Monday. The Hannaford supermarket in Rochester sold a $1 million ticket for the May 21 drawing.
