New Hampshire was bested only by Massachusetts in "America's Best States to Live In" rankings by 24/7 Wall St.

New Hampshire has again been recognized as one of the best places to live in America. The Granite State was ranked No. 2 — behind top-ranked Massachusetts — in "America’s Best States to Live In" by 24/7 Wall St., a financial news outlet. The survey, based on income, crime, education, health care and transportation — among other factors — was released last week.
"New Hampshire is perhaps the most crime-free state," 24/7 Wall St. wrote. "The state’s job market is also one of the healthiest in the country ... People who are out of work are among the most likely to earn below poverty level incomes, so New Hampshire’s healthy job market may help explain its nation-low poverty rate of 7.3%. That figure is nearly half the national poverty rate of 14.0%."
24/7 Wall St. reported the following statistics for New Hampshire:
