1. Nashua Teen Accused Of Shooting A Massachusetts Man In The Leg (patch.com) — Nashua police say a 19-year-old city resident has been arrested after a man from Lowell, Massachusetts, was shot in the leg during a fight near Eaton and Ledge streets. Investigators allege the teen fired the shots and also violated bail conditions by riding with a protected party, leading to multiple felony charges and his being held without bail while the case continues in Nashua District Court.
2. Nashua aldermen OK acceptance of grants, other funds (unionleader.com) — Nashua’s Board of Aldermen just approved several major state grants for transit, hazmat training, and public health programs, while sending a proposal to remove Middle Dunstable Road speed humps for further study. The ordinance’s backers say removal could save about $7,200 during this year’s repaving, but city infrastructure officials will weigh in before any final decision.
3. NH News Briefs 5-4-2026 (thepulseofnh.com) — Nashua police are investigating a Saturday night shooting that left a 22-year-old man with a non-life-threatening leg wound near First and Eaton streets, and they’re asking any witnesses to speak up. The same statewide brief also covers an apparent murder-suicide in Tuftonboro and new tax-free ski pass rules at several New Hampshire resorts.
4. Interdimensional UFOs Property Tax Relief Talk In Nashua More: Patch Events (patch.com) — Nashua residents can look forward to an “Interdimensional UFOs and Cryptids” talk at the Nashua Public Library plus the Diamonds in the Ruff Gala at the Event Center later this month. The roundup also highlights nearby events in Amherst, Merrimack, Concord, and other New Hampshire towns if you’re up for a short drive.
5. High School Roundup: Ballard, Cushman lead Windham softball team (unionleader.com) — Windham teams edged both Nashua South in baseball and Nashua North in lacrosse in recent matchups, with late-game heroics and big scoring performances. The roundup also highlights strong showings from Merrimack, Bishop Guertin, Bedford, and other nearby schools, giving Nashua fans a quick look at how local rivals are stacking up this season.
