1. 73rd Annual Greeley Park Art Show is 2 days of creativity and community (unionleader.com) — Greeley Park in Nashua will host the 73rd annual two-day Greeley Park Art Show this weekend, featuring more than 56 artists, live music, kids' activities, and food trucks. Residents can browse tents turned into mini galleries, watch demonstrations, and see awards announced for adult and youth art. The free event runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
2. ArtsCity Nashua wants to reinvigorate Nashua's "tree streets' in a day (unionleader.com) — This Saturday, Nashua's Heritage Rail Trail in the Tree Streets neighborhood will turn into an all-day mural and music festival, with more than 20 artists creating permanent public art. Residents can enjoy live music, food trucks, free art classes, and interactive activities while exploring one of the city's most diverse areas. Organizers hope to spotlight neighborhood pride and creativity.
3. Nashua Man Indicted On Axe Attack Charges: Hillsborough County Superior Court Indictments (patch.com) — Several people connected to Nashua have been indicted by a Hillsborough County grand jury on felony charges ranging from drug offenses and burglary to assault and motor vehicle violations. The list includes multiple Nashua residents and incidents that allegedly occurred in the city over the past few years. These indictments move the cases to superior court for further proceedings.
4. The Nash Casino Sets Another Charity Record With $2.7 Million Payout (igamingtoday.com) — A Nashua-based casino is sending a record $2.7 million to 14 New Hampshire nonprofits, including the Nashua Elks Crusaders, Nashua Regional Cancer Center, and Nashua Historical Society. Funded by July gambling revenue, the payout continues a rapid rise in charitable giving, bringing The Nash's total contributions since opening in 2025 to $31.1 million statewide.
5. Nashua man arrested following drug and firearm investigation (wzid.com) — A 32-year-old Nashua resident faces multiple drug and weapons charges after Hudson police say a May 28 traffic stop on Lowell Road led to the discovery of suspected cocaine, pills, paraphernalia, and a firearm. Officers initially arrested him for driving on a suspended license, and he's now scheduled for arraignment on October 6.
