NASHUA, NH — A fugitive from gun and drug charges in Nashua was arrested on Friday in Rome, New York, by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Jacob Reznikow, 39, was arrested after a months-long effort by local, state, and federal law enforcement departments to capture him after he was accused driving under the influence, possessing drugs and guns, and fleeing New Hampshire.
After being arrested in June on the DUI charge, police accused him of possessing guns and drugs inside his vehicle. Reznikow is a felon due to a conviction in March 2021 of selling drugs in Nashua and is not allowed to possess firearms. According to Andrew Grillo of the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force, the vehicle was seized, and Reznikow "took active steps to evade law enforcement."
Reznikow was also accused of fleeing from police several weeks ago, he said.
"Additional charges are pending stemming from the damage caused in the wake of this flight," Grillo said.

The ATF, New Hampshire State Police, Nashua police, and the task forces began coordinating and tracked down Reznikow in upstate New York. On Friday, they arrested him at a McDonald's Restaurant in Rome, New York, without incident.
"Fugitives cannot evade accountability simply by crossing state lines," Katherine Burns, the acting U.S. Marshal for the District of New Hampshire, said. "This case underscores the commitment of the U.S. Marshals Service and our partners to protecting the public and bringing fugitives to justice wherever they may try to run."
Reznikow was arraigned Saturday on a fugitive-from-justice charge. He has an extradition hearing on Tuesday.
According to Grillo, the task force includes officers from Concord, Manchester, and Nashua, as well as deputies from the Merrimack, Rockingham, and Strafford County Sheriff's Offices.
Nashua Police Department Chief Kevin Rourke said the capture of Reznikow showed the importance of law enforcement agencies working together across jurisdictions to locate dangerous individuals and hold them accountable.
"When someone repeatedly evades law enforcement while facing serious firearms and drug charges, it raises significant public safety concerns," he said. "We appreciate the dedication and coordination of our local, state, and federal partners in bringing this investigation to a safe conclusion."
Back in July 2020, Reznikow was a resident of Litchfield when he was arrested on intent-to-distribute-subsequent drug charges. The case stemmed from a motor vehicle stop in Nashua in late February. A search warrant for the vehicle he was driving led to $1,100 in cash, 49 suboxone film packages, and half a pound of marijuana, according to police.
In May 2019, he was arrested on acts prohibited; sale of a controlled drug-marijuana-second offense, a felony.
Five years before that, Reznikow was arrested on driving while intoxicated, reckless conduct, assault, and criminal mischief charges after being accused of fleeing a crash in Merrimack. Londonderry police picked him up later after responding to a domestic disturbance in their community and seeing the crashed vehicle, according to police.
