Elderly Nashua Man Faces Drug Dealing Charges After 6 Rounded Up

A Nashua police Operation Granite Shield yesterday effort led to Gate City, Hudson, Litchfield residents being arrested on drug charges.

NASHUA, NH — Six people, including an elderly Nashua resident, were arrested yesterday by police after law enforcement held another Granite Shield operation in the Gate City. Stanley Fortier, upper left, 69, of Mason Street in Nashua, was arrested on May 9, 2019, after police allegedly found him possessing more than 5 lbs. of marijuana as well as other drugs. He was ultimately charged on five counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute-marijuana, methylphenidate hydrochloride, Vyvanse, Clonazepam, and Suboxone, all felonies, as well as possession of a controlled drug-Gabapentin.

The Nashua Police Department’s Narcotics Intelligence Division, Problem Oriented Policing, and Traffic units were all involved in the enforcement action.

According to police, Fortier was held without bail pending arraignment. Groves and Kovich were held on $500 cash bail while Reznikow was released on $500 cash bail. Nieves was held on $5,000 cash bail or surety while Millan was held on $3,000, pending arraignment.
