Bank Robbery Suspect Hides in Nashua But Caught After Chase, Police Say
Jason Jewett, 38, of Littleton, Mass., crashed into a tree in Bedford, Mass., police said.

A man who robbed a bank in Chelmsford, Mass. Wednesday night then hid in Nashua was caught Thursday morning when he crashed his car in a pursuit.
Jason Jewett, 38, of Littleton, Mass., was seriously injured in the crash but was expected to survive.
Police said Jewett robbed a Citizens Bank then fled to Nashua. Police tracked him to Nashua Thursday morning and as officers were en route to Nashua, Chelmsford Police Inspector Jeff Blodgett recognized the suspect’s vehicle traveling on Route 3 in Chelmsford and began to follow, police said.

Jewett accelerated and led officers on a chase then crashed into a tree on the Middlesex Turnpike in Bedford, Mass.
Jewett faces a host of charges.
