Derry Man Faces Theft And Stolen Property Charges In Nashua
Police tracked down Douglas Dipesa on a jewelry theft rap after an incident in August; he was accused later of pawing several pieces.

NASHUA, NH — A man from Derry faces theft and stolen property charges after a multi-month investigation in Nashua by police.
Back in August 2022, officers were sent to a home in Nashua for a report of missing jewelry from a residence. During the course of the investigation, detectives learned Douglas Dipesa, 44, of Derry, “sold several pieces of jewelry at two local pawn stores in Nashua,” Det. Lt. Joshua Albert, of the department’s criminal investigation division, said.
“Several pieces of the pawned jewelry were identified by the owner(s) of the jewelry, and most were able to be recovered,” he said.

An arrest warrant was issued for Dipesa, and he was arrested on Monday on felony receiving stolen property, receiving stolen property, and theft by deception charges. He faces 17 years in prison and fines. Dipesa was released on bail and will be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court South later.
