
Seth Stephens, 22, no fixed address, was charged Nov. 10 with forgery, a class B felony; and felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, a class B felony.
On September 25, 2012, the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Field Operation’s Bureau responded to a downtown address in Nashua and took a report of a residential burglary. During the burglary, several personal checks were reported to have been stolen. One of the checks was determined to have been cashed at a local bank. Upon further investigation by the Nashua Police
Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, the person cashing the check was identified to be Stephens.
CID detectives completed an arrest warrant for Stephens. At the time of his arrest, he was found to be in possession of a butterfly-style folding knife. Stephens has a prior felony conviction for theft.

A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Stephens was held at the Nashua Police Department on $10,000 cash or surety pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit Court-Nashua District Division on October 12, 2012.
