Felon From Hudson Accused Of Firing Stolen Gun In Nashua
Ryan Noel was arrested after being accused of firing a gun while other men were fighting in the area of East Hollis and Spruce streets.

NASHUA, NH — A felon from Hudson was arrested earlier this month on more felony charges after being accused of firing a gun earlier in the month in Nashua.
Around 10 p.m. on Oct. 3, police were sent to the area of East Hollis and Spruce streets for a report of a fight in progress. The fight involved two men and callers reported hearing gunshots, Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division supervisor for the Nashua Police Department, said.
“Officers at the scene were able to locate some of the involved parties and witnesses,” he said, “and located a single firearm casing.”

Cinelli said a third man — Ryan Noel, 36, of Hudson, was identified later as not being involved in the initial fight but “involved himself in the fight and discharged a firearm,” he said. A bullet struck a nearby home, but no one was hurt, Cinelli said.
Detectives located surveillance video of the incident which confirmed witness statements, Cinelli said, and a warrant was issued against Noel on a reckless conduct charge.

Around 9 p.m. on Oct. 12, the Nashua Police Special Weapons and Tactics Unit, with the assistance of the Problem-Oriented Policing Unit and the Narcotics Intelligence Division, executed a search warrant for an apartment on Worcester Street.
“During the execution of this warrant,” Cinelli said, “Noel was located within the residence and arrested. Detectives conducted a complete search of the residence and located a firearm within the residence that had been previously reported stolen.”
Noel was arrested on reckless conduct, convicted felons, and receiving stolen property charges, all felonies. After being processed, he was released to Hudson police on other unrelated charges, Cinellis said. Noel was then held on cash bail and was scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 15.
During the past 14 years, Noel has been arrested on various charges in Hudson, Londonderry, Manchester, Merrimack, and Nashua, including criminal trespass, burglary, receiving stolen property, falsifying physical evidence, changed-removed VIN, robbery, conspiracy, simple assault, criminal mischief, stalking, credit card fraud, and violation of probation or parole.
Noel is a felon due to a felony theft conviction in October 2008, after an incident two years before in Hudson, according to court records.
Anyone with information about the case was asked to contact Nashua police at 603-589-1665.
