NASHUA, NH — A local man on the Sex Offender Registry who repeatedly failed to meet his semi-annual reporting requirement was arrested in Nashua on Sept. 12. Patrick Potter, 29, was charged with five counts of duty to report — a Class A felony — for failure to register for the past two years.

Convicted of sexual assault in Hillsborough County, Potter is required to complete a semi-annual registration as a Tier I sex offender. Police said he failed to complete a registration in 2017 and an arrest warrant was issued. Because Potter has previously been convicted of duty to report, subsequent offense are charged as a Class A felony.

Each Class A Felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment. Potter refused bail and was scheduled for arraignment.
