Nashua Men, With Priors, Arrested In Hudson On Drug Charges

Police: An erratic operation tip on Kimball Hill Road led to the arrest of Brandon Hanks and Dana Tassie in Hudson last week.

HUDSON, NH — Two Nashua men are due in court later this month after being arrested on drug charges in Hudson, according to police. On Wednesday, police received a call about "an erratic operator" driving a black Toyota Matrix on Kimball Hill Road at around 6:30 p.m. The caller, according to police, accused the driver of the vehicle of almost striking other cars in the opposite lane.

The vehicle, the caller said, then parked behind a business on Central Street. Officers went to the scene, met with two men, and alleged in a report that they were "acting quite suspicious" during the investigation.

"The officers ended up recovering approximately 8.6 grams of fentanyl in possession of the two subjects," a report stated.

Brandon Hanks, 27, pictured left, and Dana Tassie, 31, both of Nashua, were then arrested on felony possession of a controlled drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were both released on bail and are due in Hillsborough County Superior Court-South in Nashua on Sept. 19.

Hanks, according to posts online, is no stranger to police. He was arrested in Nashua on a criminal trespass charge in April 2018. In September 2014, according to the Your Tewksbury Today website, he was arrested on a drug possession charge. Hanks was arrested again in February 2013, accused of stabbing another person in Hollis in January of that year. The year before, in June 2012, he was arrested on a domestic violence charge in Nashua.
