Nashua Police: Suspect Racks Up Burglary, Theft, Other Charges

NASHUA, NH — A man with no fixed address in Nashua who was previously arrested on gun theft and other charges in May is a suspect in more motor vehicle break-ins, according to police.
Between March 31 and May 21, police in Nashua received a number of car theft complaints that involved stolen credit cards, according to Lt. Patrick Hannon of the Nashua Police Department.
"The credit cards were then used fraudulently to obtain goods and services in an amount in excess of $1,500," Hannon said. "Detectives within the criminal investigation division were assigned to further these investigations. Detectives were able to identify Brandon Maloney as being responsible for the thefts and fraudulent use of the credit cards."

Detectives also accused Maloney of burglary at a residence during the same time period, according to the report.
Maloney, 22, was arrested at 5:34 p.m. on June 24 on fraudulent use of a credit card, burglary, and theft by unauthorized taking, all felonies. He was released on personal recognizance and is due in Hillsborough County Superior Court South on July 30. Maloney faces up to 37 years in prison.
