NASHUA, NH — A local man, previously convicted a number of times on indecent exposure and lewdness charges, has been arrested again after an incident Sunday.

Nashua police were sent to a local restaurant around 2:30 a.m. for a report of "a male performing an act of gross lewdness on himself in the establishment’s drive-thru," according to Lt. Matthew DiFava of the department's detective bureau. The officers arrived at the restaurant, located the suspect, identified later as Timothy Thompson, 35, of Nashua, and he was arrested. Detectives assigned to the Special Investigations Division furthered the investigation, DiFava said, and discovered Thompson was a registered sex offender with previous incidents.

"In 2006, Thompson was convicted on two counts of indecent exposure and lewdness, Class A misdemeanors in Nashua District Court," DiFava said. "Due to these convictions, Thompson is a Tier II registered sex offender in New Hampshire and must register biannually. Thompson was additionally convicted of indecent exposure and Lewdness out of Hillsborough County South Superior Court in 2009 and 2010. These convictions resulted in Thompson’s charge being upgraded to a Class B felony."
