Nashua Students Return to School After Violent Threat

Nashua police stepped up patrols at local schools after a threat forced officials to cancel classes Monday.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua schools reopened Tuesday after someone made a violent threat.

Police said on Sunday, someone sent an email containing a “specific threat of violence” against Nashua North and South high schools. Officials canceled Monday classes for all city public schools. Other local schools also closed.

Police searched both school high schools and deemed the threat was not credible. No arrests were announced as of Tuesday morning.
