Nashua Woman Faces Charges After Being Accused Of Wrong-Way Drunken Driving On Everett Turnpike, Injuring 2
Madison Bryson-Poliquin was accused of driving south in the northbound lane of the turnpike and crashing into an SUV early Sunday morning.

NASHUA, NH — A woman from Nashua was arrested and released on personal recognizance early Sunday morning after being accused of wrong-way drunken driving and causing a crash on the Everett Turnpike.
Around 1:30 a.m., New Hampshire State Police dispatch began receiving calls about a driving in a silver Honda driving south in the northbound lane. A trooper reported seeing the car pass by Exit 4. The trooper illuminated their cruiser’s emergency lights, attempting to stop the driver, but they were accused of continuing to drive. Not long after, the Honda crashed into a Nissan Rogue SUV.

The driver of the Rogue, as well as a passenger, were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening but serious injuries, state police said.
After an investigation, Madison Bryson-Poliquin, 21, of Nashua, the driver of the Honda, was arrested on felony reckless conduct-deadly weapon, driving under the influence, and reckless conduct charges. She was released on personal recognizance and is due in Nashua District Court on Feb. 11.

Multiple lanes of the turnpike were closed for about an hour during the investigation and cleanup.
