NEW HAMPSHIRE — Right before the general election on Nov. 5, 2024, students across New Hampshire will vote for president, governor and for congressional candidates in District 1 and District 2 during the NH PBS Student Mock Election.

The voting will be held from Oct. 28 to Oct. 31.

The NH PBS Student Mock Election allows New Hampshire students in grades K-12 to participate in the electoral process by researching and voting for candidates. It is a great way to engage young people in the electoral process and encourage civic engagement.

NH PBS has hosted student Mock Elections for general and mid-term elections since 1996 and primary mock elections since 2000. New Hampshire students have correctly predicted the presidential winner in every election, except for the 2000 election, when they narrowly chose Al Gore over George W. Bush.
