Not Stressed And Living In Nashua? No Surprise — City Is Ranked As ‘Least Stressed’ In US

A WalletHub study says New Hampshire's second-largest city is among the "least stressed" communities in America based on dozens of metrics.

NASHUA, NH — If you live in Nashua, you’re lucky, according to a new financial website study, because the city is one of the least stressed in America.

The financial website WalletHub.com released a report on Monday, 2023's Most & Least Stressed Cities in America, which analyzed more than 180 cities in the United States using 39 key metrics. Nashua was listed as 173rd.

The study found the city’s work stress to be 73rd while financial, family, and health and safety stress were very low.

Two other New England cities were listed near the bottom, with Nashua — Burlington, Vermont, was 176th while South Burlington, Vermont, was 182nd.

Manchester was listed as 132nd, with health and safety ranking at 84th. Boston, Massachusetts, came in at 121st while also placing 18th on the work stress ranking.

The study said the most stressful city in the United States was Cleveland, Ohio.
